So, I think it's time to introduce my apartment before I move next week. Currently I live in Trinity Hall, which is a 20 min bus ride to campus. And, as we have found from the experience of ... many...late days, the Dublin Bus system is not exactly the most time efficient mode of transportation. Anyway, in comparison to american universities, the housing here is SWA-EEET. I live with 5 other "deadly" girls and we each have our own room (with burgundy and white walls) and bathroom, swanky I know. But our little bathrooms are like small "cleanly closets" as I have named mine. Its basically a small bathroom with a drain in the floor and a shower head nestled between the toilet and the wall. We also have a full kitchen and windowed dining room, with a beautiful view of some green houses and general foliage. However, there are no screens on the windows. Thus, there are a ton of bugs, which is really gross. And the laundry is redonkculously expensive. But, all in all compared to the prison I lived in my freshman year, the freshies here have the sweet life. Anyway, we have had tons of fun with kitchen parties, and it's fabulous to have my own space in my room. It's great to be treated like a human and not like a sardine in a tin can.
